Building on the many sectoral initiatives it supports, FIGSI hosted a very successful seminar on "Accelerating Economic Growth and Contribution of the Stone Sector" at Udaipur on August 5, 2022.
The seminar was headlined by Rajasthan Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Youth Affairs, Sri Ashok Chandna and the chairman of the Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation, Sri Rajiv Arora.
Also presenting at the seminar were dignitaries and valued partners from the Mines federation, leaders from the Department of Mines & Geology, Udaipur, geologists from JK Lakhsmi Cement and FIGSI's digital technology partner MainCross.
The cross-domain and multiple stakeholder representation at the seminar helped build a conducive environment for a focussed discussion and for the leaders to share their insights. The seminar added momentum to the many efforts of FIGSI to scientifically and inclusively further grow the Indian natural stone sector.
