More Indian stones join list of Global Heritage Stones

More reasons to rejoice for the Indian natural stone industry as more Indian stones join the list of global heritage stones by International Union of Geological Sciences.

Alwar’s quartzites, Jaisalmer’s limestone and Deccan basalt have joined the IUGS list.

Earlier, Makrana marble was the only stone from India on the list.
