A massive effort is on behind the scenes as skilling classes are set to begin at the Centre for Stone Excellence at Jaipur.

FIGSI has also been leading discussions with heads of natural stone training schools from the Czech Republic, France and Germany.

Verona in northern Italy has rich Roman remains, and has been a traditional centre for the stone industry of Italy.

It has grown into a global stone hub over the years, and is the host city for the Marmomac Stone Fair where FIGSI had participated recently.
