Stone industry cheers unveiling of FIGSI's Skill Centre

FIGSI President Ishwinder Singh unveiled the Centre for Stone Excellence at Mahindra SEZ, Jaipur in the extensive presence and support of FIGSI office bearers, executive committee members and industry stakeholders on September 18, 2023.

With the unveiling, FIGSI's knowledge partner Vivekanand Global University has assumed charge and begun daily operations of the skill centre.

On the spot admissions were also opened and about 80 students have already enrolled on the first day of operations. The courses designed for the stone industry will begin soon.

Another Centre for Stone Excellence is coming up at Hosur, Tamil Nadu and will be opened in a few months.
